Daria Lavrova is a graphic artist and illustrator, working in Amsterdam.
Artistic style of Daria Lavrova bases on the tradition of analytical drawing and is influenced
by cubism and constructivism directions in art. Urban and industrial aesthetics is the major
source of inspiration and the core theme of her works. Perspective, grids, and pure
geometric shapes and lines offers the spectator’s eye a peculiar visual traveling through
every composition, sometimes breaking to the pure abstraction and the same freely
returning back to the familiar objects, enjoying their order and functionality.
Daria works in various techniques – from pencil on paper to linoleum prints.
Some of her works have found their place in museum collections in Russia and in the
Netherlands.
